The Island Bay Residents’ Association works with local businesses, community groups, and residents to support the Island Bay community.
Who we are
Our committee members are a diverse, cheerful bunch of Island Bay residents who believe we live in the best place in the world.
The Island Bay Residents’ Association:
- develops plans that reflect the wishes of Island Bay residents and that enrich the Island Bay community
- facilitate discussions about the future of Island Bay between residents and the Council
- shares information about potential development projects that affect Island Bay in an unbiased, clear manner
- ensures everyone’s ideas and viewpoints are heard and represented
- acts as an official representative group to council for receiving and disseminating Council information concerning Island Bay
- represents Island Bay but does not make decisions on behalf of Island Bay residents
- promotes, fosters and supports businesses in Island Bay
